This is our 2nd stay here. There is access to the area ATV trails, which is why we come. It's a newer campground, a little on the rustic side, not much grass. Gravel roads throughout. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. We probably wouldn't stay here for more than 3 or 4 days at a time. TV reception is terrible, and there's nothing to do if you don't like to 4-wheel. We will go back again.

This is a wonderful little park if you like to 4-wheel, fish or just look at Lake Superior. Lots of dogs barking during the day, but couldn't hear them at night. We generally come here every summer or early fall to do some 4-wheeling. This year we stayed a whole week. There is a wi-fi coffee shop in town.

Strange little park. Owners had sold and were done at end of the month, but they were very friendly and tried to be helpful. Only one of the two showers in ladies bathroom was working. We stayed a week and were able to get a little break on the price, which was nice. Park is advertised as Passport America park, but it isn't. Perhaps the new owners will enroll again. Other residents there were friendly. We liked it, and if in that area again, would definitely stop.

This is a busy campground, with many outside activities going on. The bathrooms were in the process of being remodeled, so there was only 1 shower for the whole campground, and it wasn't any too clean. The staff was young and not too knowledgeable or friendly. I had a heck of a time just finding out which TV channels were available, and what the user name/password was for the wi-fi. It was close to the area attractions, and the surrounding scenery was quite lovely. I don't think we would camp here again if we had a choice.

This was a very nice park, well-maintained and extremely friendly staff. Free cable and free wi-fi. We booked a Gray Tour of Nashville through the staff, and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We did our laundry here....very clean laundry room, showers and bathrooms. The campers were set up a little strangely (to us) in that your door faced your neighbor's door, and both picnic tables were on same side. We haven't seen that before. Helps if you like your neighbors! We would definitely stay here again.

This was an overnight stop for us on our way home from south Texas. We pulled in at 7:30 pm. The office was closed and there were no registration forms in the box. We picked a site that looked fairly level. It wasn't. All grass sites. The "paved" road was in very poor shape. The bathrooms & showers were very primitive and not very clean. We used electric only, and were up and on our way by 7:30 a.m. Someone dropped by & left a registration form on our steps while we were in the bathrooms. We never saw a living person while there. This is a good example of why people choose to sleep over at Wal Marts or truckstops. We thought $10 would have been a fair price for sleeping there.

We accidentally stumbled onto this place after dark and had to beg (literally) to be allowed to stay. It is evidently a "members only" resort. In the morning we saw it is in a gorgeous setting, built on several levels, so walking is a challenge if you have any disabilities. We were unaware of any of the amenities, due to the lateness of our arrival. The people we saw before checking out the next day were very friendly. We were glad to find a safe spot to spend the night, but definitely wouldn't stay here again.

We loved this park. The people are extremely friendly, as is management. Many many activities, ranging from water volleyball to sewing, stained glass making, exercises, cards, bike club, dominos and on and on. Almost forgot - there's a par 3 golf course free to residents. We stayed for 2 months this year and are reserved already for 3 months next year. Some sites are not real roomy, but the ones in the newer areas are great. Only negatives we could find were water problems - very high sodium, and prone to shut down every so often. We recommend this park to anyone who wants to live an active retirement lifestyle!

We stayed for the whole month. This is a nice park, but more of a trailer park than an RV park. The "full-timers" or park model owners are pretty "cliquey", and not overly friendly. A limited number of activities were available. In all fairness, the weather in January was pretty bad, so residents were not out and about. Personally, I didn't care for this park --campsites very small & cramped together. I would not go back. It's a 55 & over park, but most residents were WAY older than 55!

This park was a huge disappointment to us. We reserved two sites on June 8, 06, side by side. When we arrived, those sites were not available due to "electrical" problems. There were many other side by side sites, but the teenager in the office knew nothing of their availability. We were not only NOT side by side, we were across the park from each other. When we asked if we could move the next day if something opened up, the girl said we could check back in the morning. The unit next to ours left the next day, but no one was in the office all morning when we tried to find out if we could move. When checking around the park, there were many empty sites. We decided to make the best of a bad situation. There were 6 sinks in the main bathrooms, but only one had hot water. The showers were 25¢ for 5 minutes, but not very clean. The toilets were disgusting. The whole campground was in dire need of basic maintenance. Staff we did run across were unfriendly and unaccomodating. It appears they are one of the few campgrounds near Green Bay, so evidently feel they have a captive audience. The "creek" is solid green and stagnant, and a breeding ground for mosquitoes, along with the giant tires that are part of the "playground". The pool did at least look clean and maintained. And by the way, DON'T try to check in early, because that will be a $3 per hour charge, and staying past check-out time will cost you $10 per hour. Not that you will want to stay past check-out time. It's really a shame, because the setting there is very pretty. Lots of trees and potential. Think of the money they could make by providing a shuttlebus to the Packer games -- $10 per head is still cheaper than parking, and would be much more convenient. We have camped throughout the entire United States and this ranks near the top of bad experiences.

This city-owned park is next door to the Viking Golf Course in Strum, WI. It has recently been enlarged with another 20 or more sites. The new sites are blacktop. The "old" ones, which we prefer, are big enough for two large campers, with lots of shade. There is access to the ATV trails from the campground. The golf clubhouse serves lunches and evening meals, if you don't feel like cooking. This is a real bargain at $55 for a week's stay. People are very friendly. We camp here as often as possible, and just completed two weeks here. We bring our 4-wheelers and our golf clubs.

This is located next to the ATV trails connecting two different counties. Our club camped here and we all enjoyed it. There is also a Best Western on the grounds, and a little fishing pond. People were friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back again.

This was a nice friendly park, close to the city and attractions. Our only concern was that some of the "campers" looked a little disreputable. While in the laundromat, some strange looking characters asked a lot of questions of us. We did keep our campers locked when we weren't actually at the site. We only stayed a couple of days. We probably would go back again though.
